Jaclyn Hoffman, Ed.D. received her doctorate from Temple University in 1982. She is a child development specialist with expertise in learning theory, teacher training, and parent education. She is the Director of Educational Services at Jaclyn Hoffman, Ed.D. and Associates, an educational consulting company specializing in Testing, Counseling, Advocacy, and Training. As an advocate and trainer, Dr. Hoffman has worked with over 30 school districts in seven counties in New Jersey and several in Pennsylvania. As a consultant in parent education, she has worked with the following corporations: CoreStates, Meridian Bank, Bell Atlantic, Dow Jones, Rohm & Haas, and Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.

Dr. Hoffman is also the former Executive Director of Educational Programs at Concentrics, an organizational and human relations consulting firm which specializes in team building, diversity, and sexual harassment training. With her colleagues, Dr. Hoffman developed the script and text for the nationally acclaimed video and curriculum In Real Life: Sexual Harassment in Schools. Her writings on the topic of respect in classroom settings have been published in professional journals. Collaborating with the training staff at Concentrics, Dr. Hoffman has provided inservice for over twenty-five school districts in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and New York.

Dr. Hoffman's previous experience includes positions as Teacher Trainer and Academic Advisor at Temple University, Curriculum Consultant for private industry, Parent Trainer for Booth/Franklin Maternity Center, and Classroom Teacher in both public and private school settings.
